Driver in fatal Brampton crash of mother, three daughters facing more charges

More charges are being laid on the driver involved in the fatal Brampton car crash that took the lives of Karolina Ciasullo and her three daughters in June.

According to Peel Police, as a result of the ongoing investigation, four additional charges of Impaired Operation Causing Death by Drugs were laid on 20-year-old Brady Robertson, the man behind the wheel of the car that collided with the Volkswagen Ciasullo was driving while in Brampton.

On June 18, Robertson was allegedly travelling eastbound at a fast rate on Countryside Road in Brampton.

According to police, he allegedly collided with Ciasullo’s vehicle and then collided head-on with a Honda that happened to be stopped westbound on Countryside Road at a red light.

“Despite the best efforts of first responders and medical personnel, all four occupants of the Volkswagon died due to the collision,” said police.

Ciasullo, along with her three children, 6-year-old Klara, 3-year-old Lilianna, and 1-year-old Mila, were in the vehicle.

On June 24, Robertson was arrested and charged with four counts of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death and one additional count of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

Robertson is now facing a total of nine charges and is set to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on September 18.
