17-year-old boy charged with first-degree murder after fatal stabbing

A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after a fatal stabbing in Toronto.

According to Toronto Police, officers responded to a call for a stabbing in the Dufferin Street and Wilson Avenue area on Monday, February 24.

Reportedly, when the police arrived at the scene they located a man and woman “suffering from multiple stab wounds” outside the premises.

Inside the premises, the police located a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene. She has since been identified as 24-year-old Ashley Noell Arzaga from Toronto.

On the same day, the 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder.
