Yonge and College is about to get sweeter.

Because BlackBall, self-proclaimed to be the oldest and most famous Taiwanese dessert chain, will be opening its first Toronto location at the intersection in June.

First established in 2006, BlackBall now has over 100 locations in more than 10 countries around the world, and the spot is widely beloved for its authentic flavours.

The ingredients used in-store are always fresh and high quality, making this sweet spot the perfect place to stop by as the months get warmer.

“We believe in a more old-fashioned and classic approach to Taiwanese dessert. At BlackBall, we believe we have found the right balance between having something that your family would make for you, and an excellent brand that has a worldwide reputation and consistency,” said Kevin Zhu, general manager of BlackBall Ontario, in a release.
