It’s time to dust off your cowboy boots and hats, there’s a new country music festival coming to Ontario this summer.
Taking place two hours north of Toronto at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, the producers of Boots and Hearts are bringing their inaugural Big Sky Music Festival to the grounds for an afternoon of country fun.
The one-day festival, which will be on July 20, celebrates the best in classic country music and offers fans an intimate concert experience with country music legends Alabama, Diamond Rio, Travis Tritt and more.
According to the festival’s website, more performers will be announced soon.
“We are thrilled to add Big Sky Music Festival to our roster of events at Burl’s Creek this year,” said co-founder, Eva Dunford.
“In our inaugural year, Big Sky will welcome three of country music’s most influential acts on one stage. In addition, during the festival, Burl’s Creek will also host a marketplace of talented local artisans and an exciting vintage car show that will blow attendees away,” said Dunford.
“In adding these fun and engaging elements to Big Sky, we are able to create a unique event for friends and families of all ages to enjoy on our beautiful event grounds in Oro-Medonte.”
There will be on-site camping, RV and motorhome spaces available on both Friday and Saturday, in addition to a pig roast on Friday evening for camping guests.
General admission early bird tickets start at $99.99, and they go on sale Friday, February 1 at 10 am.
