Thousands of customers affected by power outage in The Beaches this morning

A power outage in The Beaches is affecting thousands of customers.

According to Toronto Hydro, the outage is affecting a large area of Coxwell, Danforth Ave, Victoria Park Ave, to Lake Ontario.

Their website indicated that over 5000 people are affected by this morning’s outage. Traffic lights are affected in the area as well.

Toronto Hydro crews are on scene and currently investigating the cause.

There is no approximate time given for when the power may be restored.
