Been hankering to spend some quality time with your furry friend somewhere other than the local park?

Barkworks is an opportunity for dog owners and dog lovers to come together at Evergreen Brickworks for a fun day of Easter egg hunting and exploring.

The event, hosted by the Special Event Management Program at George Brown College, will offer live entertainment, activities, and a variety of pet-friendly vendors.

Dog owners will receive a passport on entry and will have the opportunity to hunt for eggs with their doggos while exploring the Puppy Pop-up Market.

Vendors will give attendees eggs with treats for puppers inside, and mark passports. Once the passport is filled, attendees can enter a draw to win a prize.

And while you (and your pup) get to have a great time, event ticket-sales will be supporting a great cause. The Toronto Humane Society, which provides high-quality care to the animals who are surrendered to the shelter and finds them forever homes as quickly as possible, will benefit from the proceeds.
