Balzac's Coffee Roasters is temporarily closing all its locations

Balzac’s Coffee Roasters has announced that they have temporarily closed all 14 of their cafes.

The company made the announcement on their website and social media accounts late on Friday night, stating that the closures stem from their “growing concerns around COVID-19.”

All Balzac’s Coffee cafes have been closed indefinitely as of Saturday, March 21.

“Acting as a local gathering place for communities across Ontario, the health and safety of our staff and customers is of paramount concern to us,” the post states.

The company does still offer their products for purchase online and in grocery stores. Those hoping to grab a cup of Balzac’s Coffee can do so by purchasing at their website or by visiting this list of retailers carrying their product.

“We thank you for your understanding and support as we all navigate through this together,” the chain says. “We look forward to welcoming you back in our café as soon as possible. Until then, please stay well.”
