Seattle's biggest food and beverage festival is now hiring for the summer

Perfectly plump dumplings, delicately breaded and hand-fried chicken, crunchy deep-fried ramen-wrapped hot dogs, and fully-loaded, juicy braised short rib hash. Did any of these foods make you drool? If so, you may be the perfect candidate to work at the Albert Lee Bite of Seattle.

Returning to the Seattle Center this summer from July 17 to 19, the annual food and beverage showcase features over 200 food and specialty vendors, craft beer and cider tasting. The event also hosts over 70 live bands, a bbq competition, kids playland, and more, all for free.

This year, the Bite is seeking energetic and fun people over the age of 15 to work and volunteer during the three-day foodie festival.

For those 16 years of age and older, options for employment include parking, traffic, wash station, cart walker, cart driver, busser, and helping out with lost kids. Those 18 and older can apply for any of the previous roles, as well as cashier positions.

All beer garden and bartender positions are only available for those 21 and above. Non-minors are also given the option to volunteer in The Craft and Beer Tasting, which offers a sneaky peek behind the scenes of the Bite.

While volunteering is a highly coveted job with only 24 available spaces, it’s worth applying for. Those selected to volunteer will receive a free tasting package with six tastes and a commemorative glass, as well as a free t-shirt.
