Washington Governor Jay Inslee announced that the state’s coronavirus cases officially surpassed 100,000 cases on Thursday morning.
“Every choice you make right now matters,” he tweeted, adding that spending time indoors with those outside of your household is “just too risky right now.”
Each time cases have risen, hospitalizations have followed. We’re beginning to see that same trend now.

The record-breaking coronavirus cases come just two days after the Washington State Department of Health officials warned that the region may now be entering the “fall surge” as case numbers in western Washington continue to climb at an alarming rate.
