Washington reports 107 new COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll is 4,558 after announcing 107 new deaths since Monday afternoon.

The high number of new deaths is due to a data processing backlog cleared today from February 8, 2021.

According to the Washington State Department of Health website, there have been 811 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the past 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 324,025 with 635 current hospitalizations, 62 of whom are intubated.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 479,754.
