Washington reports nearly 1,200 new cases of COVID-19

The Washington government has revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll sits at 4,956 after announcing 14 new deaths since Thursday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health website, there were 1,169 new coronavirus cases reported in the past 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 338,822 with 434 current hospitalizations, 59 of whom are intubated.

Negative test result data from November 21 to 30, 2020, are incomplete. Thus, negative test results and percent positivity for that period should be interpreted with caution.

The United States’ total death toll is 522,890.
