Washington confirms two more coronavirus deaths as cases near 25,000

The Washington government revealed that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll has reached 1,161, after announcing two more deaths since Sunday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health Website, there have been 312 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 24,041, with 205 hospitalizations, 60 of which are intubated.

Currently, 386,249 tests (approximately 94% of all coronavirus tests in the state) have turned up negative.

The United States’ total death toll now sits at 113,050.
