Washington reports seven new coronavirus deaths as cases pass 30,000

The Washington government announced that the state’s COVID-19-related death toll has reached 1,300 after seven more deaths since Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Washington State Department of Health Website, there have been 498 new known cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.

This brings the state’s confirmed total to 30,367, with 13 additional hospitalizations.

Currently, 475,448 tests (approximately 94% of all coronavirus tests in the state) have turned up negative.
