A takeout-only spot has opened in Ravenna

The Counter is your newest fast food joint, minus the grease and unhealthy calories.

After running a successful catering company, siblings Evan and Jo Ann wanted to connect with the people in their neighborhood. Thus came the start of The Counter, a little shop that offers both tasty and affordable takeout food and drinks.

Every week, the takeout restaurant serves up new specials including food and beverages.

Tuesdays are Taco Tuesday, meaning that margaritas go for $5 from 4 to 7 pm. Wednesdays are burger night, and Fridays are Fried Chicken Friday.
