Taste the flavors of the world at Tukwila's new food hall

Tukwila Village’s latest food hall, Spice Bridge, will be welcoming four new restaurants on September 1.

The 2,800-sq-ft hall is home to the Food Innovation Network’s (FIN) Food Business Incubator program, “which supports under-resourced South King County residents, primarily immigrants and refugees.”

Spice Bridge’s facility will include a commercial kitchen with four cook stations, four food retail stalls, and a community dining area. It will accommodate up to 20 food businesses that will either rent retail kiosks in the public dining area or use the kitchen for off-site sales, such as catering and farmers’ markets.

To kick off the opening of Spice Bridge, four restaurants have been selected to serve their dishes.

Moyo Kitchen will serve Somali-Kenyan-Tanzanian fusion food inspired by Zanzibar, the world’s spice capital. Afella Jollof Catering will cook up Gambian/Senegalese cuisine, Seatango will craft artisan savory and sweet pastries from Argentina, while Taste of Congo will offer authentic Congolese cuisine.

In October, Spice Bridge will welcome Filipino food at Wengay’s Kitchen, Jazze’s will offer Afghani food made from organic, locally grown ingredients, Theary Cambodian Foods will serve authentic Cambodian/Khmer cuisine, while WUHA will offer “fast” Eritrean/Ethiopian food options, serving both authentic foods and American foods cooked with Eritrean spices as a gateway to more traditional dishes.

Spice Bridge is located in Tukwila Village at 14200 Tukwila International Boulevard Suite 141 and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 8 am to 3 pm.
