Small business spotlight: Phoenix Tea Shop

Forget about coffee and head out for a tea break at the Phoenix Tea Shop.

Originally opened as an online-only tea shop, owner Virginia Wright wanted to bring her knowledge of teas, tea wares, and other tea-related products to tea aficionados.

Those wandering into the shop may be overwhelmed by the vast selection of teas — don’t be afraid to reach out to the employees, as they’ll be able to educate you about tea and tea culture.

Over 150 teas in the shop are broken down into 10 categories: non-tea infusions, black tea, green tea, oolong, yellow tea, white tea, anhui hei cha, guangxi hei cha, Hunan hei cha, and puer tea.
