Washington’s favorite springtime Instagram activity is returning this year.

That’s right, The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is making its return this April, or earlier if the flowers decide to prematurely bloom. Tulip Town is the first Skagit Valley farm to make its opening announcement and is set to open on April 1.

Visitors to the tulip fields will have to purchase timed tickets in advance online, as the farm must restrict the number of guests visiting at a given time due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Up to 3,000 people at a time will be allowed to roam through Tulip Town’s five million flowers during three-hour booked time slots. Tulip Town has announced on its website that it will be opening earlier and staying open later due to the need for timed entry.

As usual, the farm will be hosting five acres of dazzling photo opportunities, an indoor and outdoor tulip garden, displays, windmill, trolley rides, as well as a market with food, treats, local goods, and more.
More information about the season-opening can be found on the Tulip Town website.
