Please note: As recommended by Washington’s health officials, gatherings of any kind and unessential travel in the state is not recommended at this time. Please adhere to COVID-19 health and safety measures, including proper physical distancing and frequent handwashing. If you are sick, please stay home.

Santa’s known to travel, and this time he’s chosen to go barhopping.

Before he embarks on his 24-hour trip delivering gifts around the world, Santa’s making a stop at 27 bars across North America for an annual pop-up known as Sippin’ Santa.

The Sippin’ Santa pop-up is currently in its fourth year, taking place all holiday season across 17 states and three Canadian cities.

Open now, Sippin’ Santa has taken over Vinnie’s at #103-2505 2nd Avenue. You can find your way into the bar under the UW Clinic sign — or by following your ears to the hula holiday music.

The pop-up event boasts two themes, holiday Santa and Hawaiian tiki, serving up Christmas-themed tiki drinks as well as a special snack menu.

Due to the pandemic, only patio tables will be available for dine-in. All cocktails, glassware, and extra special kits are available to order for takeout. All guests and staff will continue to be screened upon entry and must wear masks when picking up orders and not actively eating or drinking.
