Drive-thru Christmas light spectacle coming to Yakima next week

Dec 10 2020, 7:53 pm

The Central Washington State Fair is transforming the fairgrounds into a drive-thru Holiday Light Fest from December 17 to 20.

Presented by Yakima Federal Savings and Loan, the holiday experience features 12 festive scenes with nearly 20 miles of lights illuminating the buildings and trees.

Kids can even drop off letters to Santa at a North Pole-themed scene, complete with two of Santa’s reindeer and the big man himself.

Gates will open at 4:30 pm, with drive-thru hours running from 5 to 9 pm each night. Admission will be $10 per vehicle and $20 for limos and buses.
