A refreshing cider bar has opened in Seattle's Phinney Ridge neighborhood

Seattle’s Phinney Ridge neighborhood welcomed a new bar to the scene as Yonder Cider launched their first and only to-go tasting room this past weekend.

Located at 1st Avenue NW between 78th Street and 79th Street, Yonder Bar is nestled on a Seattle Stay Healthy Street — walk-ups only.

Looking like someone’s garage, the small shop has $16-22 growler fills and $12 four-packs of dry, semi-sweet, and palisades hard cider.

The easy-drinknig dry cider is “bright, light and refreshing… a blend of traditional and modern cider apple varieties with bright notes of citrus. Hints of orange and lime dance with flavors of tropical fruit, making this a very refreshing but hard to define cider.”

The semi-sweet cider is 6.5% ABV and is “juicy, crisp and perfectly balanced with bold tones of peaches and strawberries complete with the nuance of spice, bringing the best out of our red fleshed and bittersweet cider apples, including Golden Russet and Dabinett, coupled with a base of Fuji and Honeycrisp.”

The palisades hard cider features blackberries and sage, producing a taste that is the perfect mix of tangy and tart.
