This weekend marks the first day of spring, but Seattle’s forecast might rain on the parade.

According to the National Weather Service, it will continue to rain for the next seven days.

The forecast on March 20, the first official day of spring, predicts a 50% chance of showers around Seattle.

In fact, the forecast calls for precipitation between Thursday and next Tuesday, making for a wet start to the season.

If itā€™s any consolation, temperatures over the coming days will be relatively warm, with daytime highs between 51Ā°F and 52Ā°F.

Overnight temperatures will dwell between 39Ā°F and 40Ā°F.
