City of Seattle launches interactive #SupportSeattleSmallBiz map

In addition to deferring utility payments, placing a temporary moratorium on evictions, and implementing temporary restaurant loading zones, the City of Seattle has now included another way of helping local businesses: an online interactive map that details open restaurants around the city.

The map includes restaurants from Burien all the way to Shoreline, indicating which spots are offering takeout, delivery, and both takeout and delivery.

“With many of our neighborhood restaurants still open, we can support our small businesses by ordering pickup or delivery during this time,” Durkan said in a statement.

“I’m grateful to our community partners who helped shape our map and make it a reality.”

The map comes two weeks after Governer Jay Inslee ordered businesses in Washington State to shut down all recreational venues and limited events to 50 people.

Restaurants have since only been available through drive-thru, delivery, and pick-up.
