Seattle may be two days into winter, but let’s hope mornings like this carry us all the way to spring.
Rather than the usual gloom that hits Seattle skies, residents woke up to a fantastic sunrise, blanketing our beautiful city in a veil of pink, orange, and purple.
Not a bad way to start off the humpday.

According to photographer Sigma Sreedharan, the skies were incredibly vivid — to the point that she wondered if she should reduce the vibrancy of her photos in the fear that people would think she’d over-edited the images. In the end, she kept the vibrancy and instead played around with contrast and tones.
