On Tuesday, Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan announced Seattle Protects: a marketplace that connects local companies, organizations, and community members interested in producing, requesting, and donating cloth face coverings.

“Seattle Protects is an effort to bridge [the gap between manufacturers and businesses looking for coverings], and make sure that local businesses and communities can get the face coverings they need all while supporting local manufacturers,” Durkan said in a press release.

The online marketplace currently lists 13 companies that offer cloth face coverings between $5 to $7 in the Seattle area.

Those wanting to add their company to the list can apply online.
