Seattle Ice Cream Festival is taking place August 22-23, 2020

Feb 25 2020, 7:42 pm

The hot August sun is beating down on you. You have a single bead of sweat trickling down your face. It trails off your chin and sizzles on the pavement.

“I… can’t… go… on,” you say. It’s then that you have a breakthrough: some part of your brain remembers the Daily Hive article that you’d read in February about an all-you-can-eat ice cream festival happening this August. You’re saved.

Be sure to avoid this situation and set your calendar reminders for the weekend of August 22 and 23, when the Seattle Ice Cream Festival makes it’s way to the Seattle Center.

For the low price of $16, gain entry to the all-you-can-eat bonanza in the heart of Seattle. All proceeds of ticket sales directly benefit Food Lifeline, which provides food to more than 300 food banks, shelters, and meal programs across western Washington.

Organizers of the festival are expecting to have over 60 flavors on offer, including dairy-free and vegan options.

A full list of creameries and flavors will be revealed at a later date.

In addition to all of the ice cream you can stomach, there will be selected food trucks on-site as well as a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Those looking to purchase a ticket can do so online. Children two and under do not require a ticket.
