Now that weā€™re a day away from Valentine’s Day, itā€™s time to bring up the only thing that matters: confectionary treats.

These V-Day goodies are candies that you’d gift your significant other, or even yourself, on Valentine’s Day. They can be big or small, or even shaped like hearts and roses. Each year,Ā Candy StoreĀ releases the three most popular Valentine’s candies in each state after by using sales data from the past 12 years across all 50 states.

Washington’s stuck on classic chocolates on Valentine’s Day, with a heart-shaped box of chocolates coming in as most popular, and chocolate roses coming in second. Conversation hearts took third place, a drop from previous years.

The heart-shaped box of chocolates also took top spots in California, Nevada, New Mexico, Alaska, Minnesota, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

Other big winners included conversation hearts, Hershey kisses, and M&Ms.
The study mentions that cupid corn, a relative of the much-disputed candy corn, has trended down the past few holidays. The only state that seems to hold its love for cupid corn is Michigan, who saw the candy take the number two spot.
