What: This event is run by the Africatown-Central District and is for those in the Black community who are interested in therapists, nutritionists, naturopaths, mental health and substance abuse professionals, doulas and midwives, social workers, doctors, fitness trainers, and more. The meetup is to familiarize the community with available resources and shoulders to lean on.

Queen Mother and Tiger Tiger

Mochi Tsuki Festival

The Bainbridge Island Japanese American Community has been hosting the annual Mochi Tsuki Festival for years and will be bringing back the Seattle taiko drum group Kodon Taiko, a mochi-making presentation, as well as lessons about Japanese culture.
