Watch a drive-in movie at this cozy Seattle spot

Jul 2 2020, 6:00 pm

While going to see movies at a local cinema is still a no-go, you can now get in your car and head to the movies outdoors with popcorn, ice cream, candy, and burgers in hand.

In addition to family meal boxes and bottle service, Canlis has opened a Canlis Drive-In Theatre, set up in the parking lot of the fine-dining restaurant.

The community theatre is a collaboration between Swedish, Canlis, and the Seattle International Film Festival, and supports the Black Farmers Collective, “a group of urban food system activists dedicated to providing opportunities to improve the health of our communities through all aspects of the food system.”

Upcoming shows include Do The Right Thing on July 2, and Top Gun on July 3. Each showing is $50 per car and tickets are available online.
