Good ol’ Valentine’s Day is coming back in two weeks, and you’re in a great city to celebrate.
Seattle’s been ranked the fourth best city in the US to celebrate Valentine’s Day, according to credit score site WalletHub.
Researchers compared 100 of the largest US cities across 14 key metrics, ranging from florists per capita to COVID-19 cases to high-quality takeout food.
They discovered that Seattle ranks 15th in average jewelry stores per capita, has the sixth most chocolate shops per capita, and the ninth most greeting card stores and gift shops per capita.
Most of Seattle’s points came from safety, budget and activities, and gift accessibility.

It was also discovered that half of those surveyed would prefer love to health: 50% of people would rather get shot by Cupid’s arrow than receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Men were found to be nearly two times more likely than women to think a Valentine’s Day gift is worth going into credit card debt, over yet 47% of people revealed that they wouldn’t marry someone with bad credit and would break up with their significant other if they spent irresponsibly.
