Capitol Hill's Ba Bar is offering $5 plates to industry workers
The past few weeks have been devastating to restaurant and hospitality staff across America. With restaurants and hotels closing their doors, many are facing cut hours or temporary suspensions from work.
To help out their peers, the Saigon Siblings and Ba Bar Kitchen have decided to run $5 Industry Eats: $5 meals served to restaurant, bar, food industry, and hotel workers who are employed or were recently laid off.

Between 1 to 5 pm, industry workers can choose between phở tái nạm with Meyer Ranch prime beef, grilled chicken vermicelli with fresh Draper Valley chicken, or vegetarian vermicelli with northwest tofu for just $5.
Those who are unable to pay can come in for a complimentary meal.

Alongside $5 industry meals, Ba Bar is offering 20% off curbside pickup for anyone calling in their order.
