You can now buy these outrageous rain hats in Seattle

If you’re looking to keep the rain off your face while making a bold statement, look no further than the rain hats by Clear Coated.

Created by Miriam Reynolds Rigby, Clear Coated is a rainwear brand featuring clothing with see-through materials. The line has everything from clutches to shoe covers, raincoats, and hats.

The brand’s website states that the company is a “rainwear brand built to create rainproof clothing and accessories that enhance and compliment, rather than hide, an outfit or personal style.”

It also mentions that their products let you take on the rain with “excitement and swagger,” something that their rain hats undoubtedly achieve.

The above rain hat is titled The Winnie, and it comes in white and black. While we appreciate the fact that the hat blocks rain from the head down, we do wonder if the fabric of the hat droops or fogs up due to the harsh Seattle rains.

For those not so interested in the massive hat, don’t worry. Rigby’s thought of it all. Her line includes a shorter version called Lucille, as well as a bucket hat version of the hat called Billie.
