All Nordstrom retail locations in Washington State will be open by the end of this month.
The stores have been closed since mid-March due to the pandemic, and while a majority of locations reopened at the beginning of June, stores in Lynnwood, Bellevue, and Seattle are anticipated to open this Thursday.

The last to open its doors will be the downtown Seattle flagship store, which will be opening on June 23.
“On behalf of the entire team at Nordstrom, we’d like to take a moment to say thank you again for your loyalty and support,” the company explained in a press release. “It really can’t be said enough – your health, and the health of our employees, is our priority. And every decision we make is through that lens. We want to be sure the approach we’re taking to reopen our stores is thoughtful, and that we’re creating a store environment that’s safe for everyone.”
The company released a comprehensive reopening plan that outlined the various hygiene and safety procedures that will be implemented in its stores moving forward.
Such practices include enforcing appropriate physical distancing, adding plexiglass barriers at checkout areas, providing facial coverings for employees and customers, and increasing sanitization throughout the store, focusing intently on high-touch surfaces such as checkout counters and shopping carts multiple times per day.
Hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes will also be made readily available for staff and customers.
