You can learn photography basics for free this weekend

Photography giants Canon and Nikon are both offering free photography education workshops and videos, making for the perfect weekend plans for those in isolation.

Canon is holding a two-day documentary workshop with filmmaker RJ Bruni.

Day one is on April 11 and focuses on the filming side of documentary work, with day two on April 15 shifting to focus on editing.

Both webinars are free with an RSVP.

Nikon has now made their entire photography course lineup available for free until the end of April.

Their courses range from shorter set-up videos to hour-long classes on photography fundamentals, shooting music videos, portrait sessions, and more.
