How much do you know about Jimi Hendrix’s life or legacy in Seattle? Do you know where he lived? Do you know where he first played? Why he left?

The King County Equity Now Coalition has wondered all of these questions and wants Seattle to do more to honor his legacy.

As a way of remembering him, the coalition along with the Jimi Hendrix Family is hosting a Peace and Love March for Equity next month.

The march will take place from Garfield High School to Jimi Hendrix Park and is set to honor the legacy of the great Jimi Hendrix.

It will take place on September 18, fifty years after the death of the guitar legend.

More information to come through the King County Equity Now Coalition.
