A pop-up serving grain bowls is coming to Ballard next month

Feb 17 2021, 8:03 pm

Inspired by Executive Chef Ryan Donaldson’s passion for healthy, bold food and the pandemic’s impact on hospitality and consumer behavior, Donaldson is flipping his three-year-old Gather Kitchen and Bar into an exciting new pop-up: Harmony and Grain.

The pop-up at 5605 22nd Avenue NW will bring food that both tastes great and makes you feel great to the Ballard neighborhood. It’s set to offer takeout as well as minimal outside and inside seating.

Harmony and Grain will be serving up grain bowls, which are bowls with a flavorful grain base topped with a mix of locally sourced and house-made veggies, legumes, fruits, sauces and additional toppings to create distinctly different flavors.
