It’s the first full day back at work in the new year, and 2021 is trying its best to give you one extra day off.
The essential office communication tool, Slack, went down abruptly this morning and businesses around the virtual world ground to a halt.
The popular communications platform said this morning that, “customers may have trouble connecting or using Slack.” As of 12:39 PT, however, the service is back up and running.

Users began reporting issues at around 10 am ET.
Professionals flocked to Twitter to get their daily dose of GIFs and memes, and reactions have been quite fitting considering the majority of the world is currently working remotely.
Clean slate.
