There is good news for all emoji lovers out there. With the release of iOS 14.2. last week, 117 brand new emojis have been added to the existing collection.
New additions to the already vast assortment include a polar bear, a smiling face with a tear, and people hugging, according to Emojipedia.

This comes after it was announced in September by Emojipedia that updated emojis would be revealed towards the end of 2020.

Other new emojis include a disgusted face, a bubble tea, a fly, and a magic wand.
The new iOS 14.2 now supports 3,292 emojis. This is an increase from the 3,175 that have been available until now.

Emojipedia has also shared that over 200 new emojis will be released by the end of 2021.
