Popular Seattle coffee shop announces permanent closure due to coronavirus

A Queen Anne staple, El Diablo Coffee Co. will be closing for good on Tuesday.

In a post to Facebook, the 20-year-old coffee shop said that the current pandemic was to blame, as they are “unable to provide a safe environment for our employees and guests, and afford to remain open.”

Rather than letting go of their staff, however, the company has moved them to sister store Cloud City Coffee Roasting, which will remain open and honor all punch cards and gift cards purchased at El Diablo.
