Apr 25 2020, 7:44 pm

Homestyle soup dumplings from Xiao Chi Jie is the quarantine food you didn’t know you needed.

On a regular day, the downtown Bellevue restaurant serves up eggy pockets, steamed bao, and Hainan chicken rice.

These days, the spot has pivoted to producing xiao long bao, pork-filled dumplings, which are currently available for pick up and delivery, fresh or frozen.

A dozen of fresh pork dumplings cost $11.95, while shrimp and pork dumplings are a dollar more at $19.95.

Frozen dumplings can only be purchased in bulk sizes of 50, and cost $29.95 to $32.95.

For just five dollars more, upgrade your frozen xiao long bao order to include a deluxe kit. The kit comes complete with a trio of Xiao Chi Jie crafted sauces and a pack of five steamer liners to prevent juices from coming out of the dumplings.
