What to eat in and around Seattle today: The Maple

May 13 2020, 7:29 pm

Those missing nights out at the pub should order in from The Maple.

Located in the Maple Leaf neighborhood, the popular brunch spot is serving up its original seasonal cocktails, rotating craft beers, and crave-worthy food to go.

The restaurant is currently open Wednesday to Friday, from 12 to 8 pm, and weekends from 10:30 am to 8 pm.

Start your order with a surf n’ turf board of prosciutto, red onion marmalade, herb cream cheese, pickled veg, smoked gouda, crudité, grilled baguette, or crispy Brussels sprouts with fried sage, sambal maple glaze, romesco, and almonds.

We suggest skipping the salads and ordering two mains instead. We’re fans of the crab spaghetti, eggplant Caprese, salmon burger, and pulled pork sandwich.

Finally, top off your meal with an order of chocolate ganache with sea salt, caramel, and cocoa, or bread pudding with a house-made cookie, ricotta cream, orange zest, and cocoa nibs.

The Maple also offers growler fills, single beers and ciders, as well as wine and several cocktails.
