What to eat in and around Seattle today: Life on Mars

Nov 4 2020, 8:26 pm

Life on Mars is one part record shop, one part restaurant, and fully out of this world.

The restaurant runs a vinyl club that accepts 30 members throughout the year. If you’re one of the lucky 30, you’ll receive 10 hand-picked records, various Life on Mars merch, as well as a personalized letter about each record and a thank you for helping to keep the bar alive.

Those looking for food can enjoy a fully vegan menu kitted out with meat alternatives and all-day brunch.

We recommend buying a pint and grabbing a bunch of food to share. Split some cauliflower wings, disco fries, roasted Brussels sprouts, or sweet corn tamale cakes to start.

If you’re looking for something heavier, a burger or sandwich may be the item for you. Pick between a steakhouse burger, chopcheese, po’ boy, basic beyond burger, patty melt, or jackfruit carnitas tacos.
