What to eat in and around Seattle today: Kamonegi

Aug 14 2020, 10:50 pm

Grab a quick snack from Seattle soba experts Kamonegi this week.

The restaurant features soba handmade by chef and artisan soba maker Mutsuko Soma, who learned to make the delicacy from her grandmother.

Made of buckwheat, not grain, the noodles are low in gluten and perfectly tasty.

Besides soba noodles, the Japanese restaurant features small bites including rice balls, snacks, fried dishes, sandwiches, and rice dishes.

They also have plenty of meals to take home, including a Zaru Soba for two, agedashi tofu, foie gras butter corn, and chicken tsukune.
