What to eat in and around Seattle today: Jerk Shack

Jun 23 2020, 7:34 pm

If you’re looking to experience a taste of Jamaica, head on over to Jerk Shack in Belltown.

The restaurant pays tribute to classic Caribbean food while cooking with care and modern technique.

The menu is inspired by Chef Trey Lamont’s Jamaican heritage, with a focus on fried-to-perfection food made from scratch using house-ground spices.

Those looking to enjoy a night out should purchase tickets to the Jerk Shack Dinner Club, “a night of food, cocktails and music inside of the dining room or back patio spaced out to regulation standards for phase 1.5 and phase 2 for the state of Washington.”

All guests will be seated at 6:30 pm and presented with a special three-course meal from Chef Lamont.
