What to eat in and around Seattle today: Drae's Lake Route

Jun 19 2020, 12:27 pm

Whether you’re in the mood for chicken and waffles or a filling veggie scramble, Drae’s Lake Route has the fixings for all of your cravings.

The lakeside restaurant serves up all-day breakfast as well as tasty lunch dishes.

While the soul food spot doesn’t look like much on the outside, the flavors within will have you returning day after day.

At Drae’s, you don’t want to skip their legendary waffles. While most go for the chicken and waffles, you can also enjoy a bacon waffle, savory waffle, or cornbread waffle. If you’d rather enjoy a handheld version, opt for the chicken waffle sliders.

The spot also serves up a mean catfish, which we recommend getting with a side of grits.

Those looking to fill up on wings or chicken strips can pick between six sauces, and either a half pound of wings, a pound of wings, or two pounds.
