What to eat in and around Seattle today: Coffeeholic House

Apr 29 2020, 7:26 pm

Although Coffeeholic House has only been around for a month, we’re truly hoping that it’s here to stay.

Seattle’s first-ever Vietnamese coffee bar is located in Columbia City at 3700 South Hudson Street and was inspired by the owners’ Vietnamese heritage.

The cafe prides itself on using organic Nguyen Coffee Supply beans, specialty coffee beans imported straight from Da lat, Vietnam, and features both traditional and modern variations of Vietnamese coffee.

Although we don’t recommend drinking four cups of coffee in one go, we do suggest going back more than once to try one of everything on the menu.

If you’ve never had ca phe sua da, we suggest starting with basic Vietnamese Coffee. The caffeinated beverage is thicker than American coffee and typically has a stronger taste. It’s also sweetened with condensed milk, giving it a perfect kick of sugary goodness.

Those looking for an elevated coffee should try the Coffeeholic Dream — a velvety coffee topped with a foamy, lightly salted cream cheese layer.

One of the most popular drinks at Coffeeholic House is the Ube Latte, which is perfectly Instagrammable with its purple coloring.
