What to eat in and around Seattle today: Chungchun Rice Dogs

Jul 31 2020, 8:38 pm

Those looking to try the next Asian food trend need to check out Chungchun Rice Dogs.

The chain arrived in Seattle last November and specializes in a popular Korean street food: rice dogs.

Much like corn dogs, Korean rice dogs include meats coated in a rice flour batter that are then deep-fried and coated with additional toppings.

Start by deciding what kind of meat or filling you’d like. Choose between a hot dog, spicy sausage, rice cake, mozzarella and meat, or just cheese.

Then, decide what additional toppings you may want. Favorites include bits of potato, bread crumbs, ramen, ketchup, and mustard.
