What to eat in and around Seattle today: Cascina Spinasse

May 7 2020, 6:27 pm

Those longing for Italian food can satisfy their cravings tonight with dishes from Cascina Spinasse.

After a month of being closed, the Northern Italian-inspired restaurant has decided to reopen, offering daily takeout from 5 to 8 pm.

Enjoy handmade pastas and seasonally inspired dishes and desserts from none other than Chef Stuart Lane and his team.

To start, enjoy complimentary grissini breadsticks and choose between prosciutto di parma, braised baby artichokes, arugula salad, or an assorted cheese plate.

Then, move on to pasta or a main. We suggest ordering one of each and either splitting the dishes with your partner or keeping some as leftovers for another day.

The tajarin al ragu, risotto, and pork belly are our favorites.

If you’re someone who loves side dishes, be sure to try the sauteed asparagus or roasted garlic and chili kale.

Finish off your dinner with one of two desserts: the tiramisu or panna cotta.
