TikTokers are recreating the in-flight experience from their laundry rooms (VIDEOS)
In the current state of the world, travel of any kind is strongly discouraged unless deemed essential.
Of course, we miss all aspects of travel. Whether it’s selecting a destination, making an itinerary, packing, or sitting on the plane, it’s all part of the experience.
TikTok influencers are illustrating their pining for travel by recreating the in-flight experience from the comfort of their own laundry rooms.

The trend began with a video from Jeroen Gortworst, where viewers are lured in with what appears to be a view outside a plane window with a captain speaking from the cockpit.
From there, the camera zooms out to reveal Gortworst sitting on the floor of his laundry room with a fake tray table, a glass of wine, and a passport as Enya’s “Only Time” plays in the background.
The video served as inspiration for countless TikTokers around the world to create similar videos.
