There are few cities with such a notorious food item that is recognized the world over. One of those places is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Philly Cheesesteak adopted the city’s name because that’s where the perfect cheesesteak sandwiches come from. In Portland, we’re fortunate to have the exorbitant melting pot of cuisines that we do. This includes location-specific delicacies made by transplants and fans alike.

One such beauty is the delicious mountain that is the menu at Steakadelphia on SE Powell Street in Portland. Serving both local and imported beers, this Cheesesteak haven in PDX takes a lot of heavy swings and knocks them all out of the park.
What to order
You could truly throw a dart (please don’t, that’s dangerous) at the Steakadelphia menu and get something that is so mouthwateringly tasty, you may want to move to Philly yourself. However, we’d be remiss if we didn’t suggest you try the classic first and foremost.

The Philly Cheesesteak at Steakadelphia is so buttery smooth and packed with flavor that they should implement a bundle deal where consumers can obtain two at a time. One to inhale in excitement, and another to enjoy slowly. You’ve got to try it.
