Dec 4 2019, 6:59 pm

There’s nothing quite like coming home after a long day’s work and washing your stresses away in a glorious bath or refreshing shower with your favorite soap.

While the market has several options to choose from when it comes to the scent and type of suds you want on your skin, you can now tailor make your soaps thanks to a new soap-making workshop at OMSI, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.

This is the perfect opportunity to combine ingredients and herbs and make your dream soap that you can’t find anywhere.

The best part about this workshop is that you’ll not only have your own soap to take home, but you’ll also learn about the chemistry behind soap and soap making.

OMSI recommends that attendees wear clothing that fully covers their feet, legs, and arms, because soap making involves dealing with caustic substances.
